Spanish scrap prices continue to fall on high imports
Scrap prices in Spain fell by approximately €10/tonne ($11.3/t) between September and October due to the increasing imports of raw materials originating in UK, France and Northern Europe, market sources tell Kallanish. This follows the progressive contraction seen during the summer, when scrap prices fell by €20/tonne in July and by €5/t in August.
