Spanish scrap market begins February with price downturn
The Spanish scrap market has begun February with a downwards adjustment, Kallanish hears from local market sources.
Domestic scrap prices have fallen by nearly €10-15/tonne ($11.05-16.58/t) after the local market had seen a slight recovery since the beginning of the year. Prices had improved over that period by some €15/t for E8 quality.
