Spanish rebar prices volatile as demand returns
The Spanish rebar market has shown some price volatility during recent weeks. Price levels moved up by €10/tonne ($11.3/t) in the last days of May before falling since the start of the month. Prices have been supported by increasing demand in the private construction sector, which has been optimistic since the market reopened, while demand in the public sector remains depressed, sources tell Kallanish.
