Spanish rebar prices stabilise after fall

Spanish rebar prices have decreased, in line with recent international market movements. Market participants consulted by Kallanish confirm there is strong demand for material from the construction sector and do not anticipate mills adjusting prices at the beginning of September. Rebar prices fell almost €15/tonne ($17.7) during August. The Spanish market is still suffering from a shortage of 16mm and 12mm diameter material, which looks like it will last also…
