Sidenor begins revamp of Spanish plant

Spanish special steelmaker Sidenor tells Kallanish that it has begun the second phase of the revamp of its Basauri plant after having approved an €84 million ($92.7m) investment plan. The project includes the upgrade of the rolling mill and the building of a new finishing line, as well as a new billet stock area.
