Spain's Saint Gobain begins temporary lay-off plan
French ductile cast iron supplier Saint Gobain PAM (SGP) says that it has begun to implement temporary lay-offs for its workforce in Spain, the company says in a note monitored by Kallanish.
The SGP temporary lay-off scheme affects the group's plant located in Santander, in the northern Cantabria region, and impacts some 204 workers. Alternate stoppages at the unit will continue until the end of December 2020.
