Spain, Bangladesh demand lift Saudi HR flats exports
Saudi Arabian hot rolled flat product exports surged over four-fold on-year in July to 29,072 tonnes, according to new General Authority for Statistics data monitored by Kallanish.
This came as United Arab Emirates sourced 12,050t of unpickled HR wide strip under 3mm thick versus only 1,071t in July 2017. Moreover, Spain and Bangladesh sourced 5,003t and 3,024t respectively of pickled HR wide strip above 4.75mm thick compared to zero each last year.
