Southeast Europe's January crude output decreases

Southeast Europe's (SEE) crude steel production fell in January, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 378,069 tonnes, down by 25.6% year-on-year. In December, SEE’s output was 387,220t, up by 12.4% on-year (see Kallanish passim). Serbia was again the largest steel producer among the seven countries of SEE, which also include Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, North Macedonia and Moldova…
