Southeast Europe steel output decreases in February
Southeast Europe (SEE) crude steel production decreased in February, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 331,939 tonnes, down by 53.3% year-on-year.
In January-February, regional production increased by 5.8% on-year to 748,939t.
Serbia was again the largest steel producer among the seven countries of SEE, which also include Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, North Macedonia and Moldova.
