Southeast Asian demand hits 70mt in 2015
Southeast Asia continued to see steel demand grow strongly in 2015, according to the South East Asian Iron and Steel Institute (Seaisi). Surging Vietnamese and Philippine demand was enough to counteract declines in Thailand and Indonesia, Kallanish notes.
