South32 confirms Illawarra coking coal outage
South32 has confirmed that some of its Illawarra coking coal mining operations will be halted for “…an extended period” after a gas leaked stopped mining in late June for the second time this year. Chinese coking coal prices have been hovering at around the $150/tonne mark, Kallanish notes.
