South32 achieves solid fourth-quarter production results
Australian miner South32 has delivered solid production in the fourth quarter of the financial year ending June 2022 (FY22), Kallanish notes.
The group’s manganese ore production in the June quarter alone rose 4.18% to 1.47 million tonnes from 1.41mt a year ago. However, full-year output fell 2.8% on-year to 5.43mt.
As for metallurgical coal, production climbed 3% to 1.38mt in Q4 from 1.34mt a year earlier. Annual output nevertheless slipped 7.42% to 5.71mt…
