Korean auto production rises for seventh consecutive month
South Korean automobile production achieved a gain for the seventh consecutive month in November, which was mainly contributed by exports, Kallanish learns.
The country produced 379,797 cars in the reporting month, up 16% on-month and 25.4% year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MTIE). MTIE explains this was supported by improving conditions for semiconductor supply.
