South Korea lowers 2030 industrial carbon reduction target
The South Korean government has decided to lower the greenhouse gas emissions reduction target for the industrial sector by 2030. However, it will lift that of the energy sector, meaning the overall national target will not be changed.
This is according to “The First National Basic Plan for Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth (government proposal)” released by the Presidential Commission on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth.
