South Korea auto industry reports strong February
South Korea’s automotive industry reported a strong February amid easing chip shortages and demand for electric vehicles, according to the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA).
February auto production in the country totalled 347,707 units, surging 13.4% month-on-month and 31.7% year-on-year, Kallanish learns. The figure was also higher than any month last year except November and December.
