South Kaveh Steel exports 84% of nine-month output

South Kaveh Steel (SKS) increased billet output 50% on-year in the nine months through 21 December to 640,000 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Iranian steelmaker. SKS has been ramping up production since commissioning in late 2015 its 1.2 million tonnes/year electric arc furnace-based billet plant. It also has a 1.5m t/y direct reduced iron plant.
