Iran's SKS to double capacity by March 2017
South Kaveh Steel (SKS) has produced over 400 tonnes of steel since commissioning its new 1.2 million tonnes/year electric arc furnace-based merchant billet plant. Work to double capacity is scheduled for completion in March 2017.
SKS is targeting a 10% share of Iran’s planned output of 55m t/y by 2025, according to the firm’s chief executive, Ali Dehaqin.
