South Africa's steelmaking mineral output declines in February
South African steelmaking minerals output decreased by 13.1% on-year and 23.2% on-month in February; two-month production fell 5.2% on-year.
Iron ore production in February at 3.45 million tonnes saw an on-year decline of 16.2% and 33.9% on January. January-February output was down 4.7% on-year to 8.68mt, from 9.1mt recorded in the same period last year.
