South African metal workers’ strike concludes
The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) has decided to end the ongoing national engineering strike that started on 5 October.
Numsa’s special national executive committee debated the revised offer from the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (Seifsa), and the deadlock is resolved, the union said during a press conference on Thursday attended by Kallanish.
