South African metal workers’ union sets strike deadline
The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa), the country’s largest metalworkers’ union, has given employers in the steel industry until next week's deadline to reach a wage settlement. Failing this, they should be prepared for an imminent strike, the trade union says.
