South Africa's October manganese, chromium ore production rises
South Africa's manganese ore and chromium ore production increased significantly in October 2023, bringing ten-month output up on-year.
Iron ore production has yet to recover, while October nickel production was up 3.8% on September and 16.7% on-year to 2,895 tonnes, but January-October production of 23,925t is still below the prior year’s 24,962t.
