Low selling prices continue to affect Sonasid
Morocco’s principal steelmaker and long products’ supplier, Sonasid, has posted its third-quarter and nine-month results for 2019. The steelmaker says that low selling prices in the market are continuing to affect its business.
Sales fell by over -7% year-on-year during the January-September period to MAD 2.6 billion ($238 million). Sales in Q3 alone were down by over -9% y-o-y, Kallanish notes.
