Sonasid's 2017 results improve despite weak Moroccan demand

The main Moroccan longs supplier, Sonasid saw its sales surge last year, despite the continued weakness of the Moroccan construction sector, Kallanish learns from the company. Overall the company’s revenues increased by over 20% y-o-y to MAD 3.6 billion ($392 million). The recovery in sales was mainly due to higher international and domestic scrap and rebar prices.
