Some Russian steelmakers won’t pay liquid steel tax: government
Steel companies in Russia will be exempted from paying excise taxes on liquid steel if they produce it for their own needs, says the press service of Russian government.
The resolution on the formation of a list of such enterprises was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The decision will also affect enterprises that annually produce no more than 300,000 tonnes of special steel containing at least 20% of alloying elements, Kallanish notes.
