Italian scrap market forecasts increases
Italian scrap prices seem to be about to increase for October new contracts by €10-15/tonne ($9.8-14.7) compared to September, depending on each mill and their needs.
Some producers have communicated price increases to their suppliers, while others remain quiet and are adopting a wait-and-see mood. Sales activity is forecast to become more dynamic towards the end of this week, sources tell Kallanish.
