Solar plant to be built on Continental site
Developers plan to install a solar power plant at the site of the former Continental Steel facility in Kokomo, Indiana, Kallanish learns from local media reports.
Construction on the 21,000 panel, seven megawatt facility is slated to begin immediately and will wrap up by the end of the year, according to Inovateus Solar.
The electricity generated by the site will be purchased by Duke Energy under a 20-year agreement.
