SMS to support Big River mill
US flat-rolled newcomer Big River Steel has chosen SMS Technical Services to handle maintenance and service at its 1.6 million short ton/year Osceola, Arkansas, mill, Kallanish understands.
SMS has set up a workshop about two miles away from the Big River site and “…will be in charge of the two on-site roll shops servicing the hot and cold rolling mills,” SMS says.
