SMS group completes Sidenor`s Basauri plant upgrade
Spanish special steelmaker Sidenor has issued the final acceptance certificate to Germany's SMS group over the successful commissioning of the upgraded Basauri plant, the technology supplier tells Kallanish.
“The upgrade was aimed at ensuring more effective rolling operations, increasing the initial pass section, raising rolling speeds, and improving the material properties,” says SMS.
