Sluggish demand hides Jordan sales tax hike impact
Persistent sluggish demand in Jordan’s long product market means the effect of Jordan’s increase earlier this month in rebar, wire rod and billet sales tax is yet to be fully felt, market participants tell Kallanish. The tax was hiked by 16%.
