Slowing projects seen reducing ChelPipe's LDP sales
Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant (ChelPipe)’s large-diameter pipe (LDP) sales will rebase to around 600,000 tonnes/year from 2018. This is because LDP-consuming projects, such as Gazprom's Power of Siberia and Nord Stream 2, will slow from next year, according to Fitch Ratings.
LDP is ChelPipe's most volatile segment volume-wise due to the erratic schedule of Russian oil and gas majors' large projects, the credit rating agency says.
