SL Mining threatens legal action following licence cancellation
Tensions in the stand-off between SL Mining and the Sierra Leone government over the Marampa iron ore project have increased. This follows an attempted cancellation of SL Mining’s Large Scale Mining Licence by the government on 7 October, the miner’s parent company Gerald Group tells Kallanish. The miner is now threatening a huge law suit against the Sierra Leone authorities.
