Six Chinese steel companies declare bankruptcy
Six Chinese steel companies were declared bankrupt or have had bankruptcy applications processed by courts in the three days to 27 July, according to the National Enterprise Bankruptcy Information Disclosure Platform, Kallanish notes.
Wuhan Iron & Steel Pipe Industry Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Kerui Steel Plate voluntarily applied to the court for bankruptcy liquidation, while the other four companies were taken to court by lenders.
