Singapore rebar moves up slowly
The Singapore rebar market is inching upwards this week, Kallanish notes. Chinese rebar export prices rose in tandem with better sentiment in the Chinese domestic market.
Chinese mills’ offers for 10-40mm BS 4449 theoretical-weight rebar are prevailing at at least $580/tonne cfr. Leading Chinese mill Shagang hiked its offers to $570/t fob, which would be equivalent to $590/t cfr, trading sources said Thursday.
