SIJ liquidates electrode welding subsidiary, eyes steel output
Slovenian Steel Group (SIJ)’s management board has decided to recommend to the supervisory board to liquidated its subsidiary SIJ Elektrode Jesenice, to focus on its core business of steelmaking, Kallanish notes.
The main reason is declining demand in the global market and negative performance in recent years.
