Sierra Metals doubles Mexico iron ore production outlook
Canadian-based Sierra Metals (SMT) says it expects to have an annual production capacity of 3.65 million tonnes of iron ore with 62% Fe content from its Bolivar mine in Mexico from 2024, Kallanish learns from the miner.
This volume is double compared to the company`s previous estimate made in October 2020. The positive outlook results from an update of the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).
