Sierra Leone government approves iron ore project expansion
The Sierra Leone Parliament has ratified unanimously the Large-Scale Mining Agreement (MLA) of Marampa Mines Limited (MML), Kallanish notes.
The MLA granted to Marampa Mines an initial period of 25 years, renewable thereafter for 15 years, for the development and production of iron ore concentrate from compliant resources of approximately 1.7 billion tonnes.
