Siderperu bags financial support for scrap recycling activities
Peruvian long product steelmaker Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú (Siderperu), a subsidiary of Brazil's Gerdau, says that it has secured long-term funding from BBVA to potentially expand scrap imports and melting capacity. The company reveals this in a statement to the local Securities Market Superintendence (SMV), monitored by Kallanish.
