Sidenor's new owners plan investments amid difficult market
The new owners of the Spanish special steelmaker Sidenor have announced the intention to launch a series of investments in their plants for the 2017/2018 period, Kallanish learns from sources.
The investments have been calculated at some €90 million ($95m). The first part amounting to €35m planned for the summer of next year is assigned to the Basauri plant in the Basque region to modernise the continuous caster and the rolling mill.
