Sidenor signs solar, wind power purchase agreement
Spanish special steelmaker Sidenor has signed a ten-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with gas and electricity supplier company Naturgy, Kallanish understands.
The contract is for the supply of 350GW per year of solar and wind renewable energy. “The PPA represents another step in Sidenor’s commitment for the decarbonisation of its processes, through the use of green energy in its production facilities in Spain,” the company says.
