Sidenor expands Basauri plant production range
Spanish special steelmaker Sidenor tells Kallanish that it has diversified and expanded its product range with the incorporation of a new continuous casting round bloom sizes at its Basauri plant.
The products are destined for use in the domestic railway, oil & gas and renewable energy sectors, as the steelmaker looks to reduce its dependence on the automotive sector. The steelmaker supplies 70% of its production into vehicle production.
