Siddiqsons Tin Plate suspends production
Pakistan-based tin plate mill Siddiqsons Tin Plate (STPL) has suspended its Winder plant in Balochistan from 19 February to 3 March, the firm says in a stock exchange filing.
STPL’s revenue rose by 8% year-on-year to PKR 1.16 billion ($4.16 million) for the fiscal quarter through September 2023 (FQ1). However, FQ1 cost of sales rose by 23% to PKR 180.17m due to low capacity utilisation, Kallanish notes.
