Sichuan targets EAF output expansion by 2025
In order to promote the development of low-carbon industries, China’s Sichuan Province intends to support the commissioning of electric arc furnaces (EAFs). The provincial department of Economy and Information Technology is seeking comments on a draft document titled "Implementation Plan for Carrying out the High-quality Development Leading Project of EAF Steelmaking", Kallanish notes.
