Sichuan steelmakers close four EAFs
Sichuan Dugang Iron & Steel Group (Dugang) and Sichuan Changfeng Steel each closed two 40-tonne electric arc furnaces for capacity replacement last week. This equipment will be shut down and no longer be allowed to resume production, Kallanish notes.
