Sichuan posts new capacity replacement policy
Sichuan Province, a major province for electric arc furnace-based steelmaking capacity, has recently posted its new coke and steel capacity replacement policy, according to the Provincial Economic and Information Department.
Compared with the previous national standards, the plan does not impose more stringent measures on blast furnaces and converters, nor does it give more preferential treatment to EAFs.
