Sichuan Metallurgical Group restructures Gangchen Stainless
Major Chinese electric arc furnace-based steelmaker Sichuan Metallurgical Group (SMG) on 18 January held a ceremony for the joint restructuring of Sichuan Gangchen Stainless Steel Company, Kallanish notes.
The two privately-owned companies did not disclose any details for the reorganisation. Considering the scale, Gangchen Stainless is highly likely to become part of SMG.
