Kaitan to hot trial new graphite electrode plant
Kaitan New Materials Company in China’s Sichuan province anticipates that it will conduct hot trials for its new ultra-high-power graphite electrodes project in May 2020, Kallanish notes.
The project was rubber-stamped on 22 March 2019 and resumed construction in late February after having been halted in late January this year. Output from the project is anticipated to be 25,000 tonnes/year of graphite electrodes.
