Sichuan Gangchen upgrades hot rolling line
Sichuan Gangchen Stainless in southwest China has completed the upgrade of one 1,450-millimetre hot rolling production line for stainless steel and carbon steel coils, Kallanish notes.
The main products of the line are wide coils, with a thickness of 2-9.75mm. The Institute of Engineering Technology, USTB was responsible for all transformation tasks. Before the resumption, the line had been suspended for more than two years, and it was commissioned in 2009.
