Sichuan EAF steelmakers continue overhauls in September
A number of Sichuan electric arc furnace steel producers have announced a joint five-day shutdown in the first half of September. Rising scrap prices have reduced the profits of these producers, while weaker steel prices have put further pressure on profitability, Kallanish notes.
