Sichuan Desheng caps new blast furnace
Sichuan Desheng Vanadium Titanium Company has recently capped a new 1,250 cubic metre blast furnace, constructed by China 17th Metallurgical Corporation (MCC17), Kallanish notes.
Work on the project began on 30 November 2021, and was expected to be complete by the end of this year. The company expects to add 1.15 million tonnes/year of iron capacity from this BF.
