Sichuan Dagang to replace blast furnaces, converters
Sichuan Dazhou Iron & Steel (Dagang) plans to build two new 1,340m³ blast furnaces and two 100-tonne converters. It is targeting 2.428 million tonnes/year of iron capacity and 2.3m t/y of crude steel capacity by December 2024, Kallanish notes from the capacity replacement plan released on Tuesday.
